Bombers (David Bowie song) : ウィキペディア英語版
Bombers (David Bowie song)

"Bombers" is a song written by David Bowie. It was recorded in July 1971〔Kevin Cann (2010). ''Any Day Now - David Bowie: The London Years: 1947-1974'': p.223〕 and intended for the album ''Hunky Dory'', but was replaced at the last minute by the cover "Fill Your Heart".〔Nicholas Pegg (2000). ''The Complete David Bowie'': p.77〕
It was released as a promo single by RCA in the US in November 1971, backed by a remix of "Eight Line Poem" that can only be found on this single (both tracks also were issued on an extremely limited edition promotional LP by RCA/Gem). A bootleg version backing "London Bye Ta-Ta" was also released in the early 1970s.〔Roy Carr & Charles Shaar Murray (1981). ''Bowie: An Illustrated Record'': p.116〕 The track was eventually given wide release as a bonus track on the Rykodisc reissue of ''Hunky Dory'' in 1990.
